A German player was the big winner in the Eurojackpot draw on Friday 24th June, banking an impressive €1.3 million for matching the five main numbers and one of the Euro numbers. The ticket holder, who was the only participant to win in the Match 5+1 prize tier, has become Lower Saxony’s biggest Eurojackpot winner of the year and the seventh German millionaire to be created by the game during 2016. There was no jackpot winner on the night, meaning the top prize rolls to €40 million this Friday.

The winning numbers were 19, 21, 24, 41 and 48 with Euro numbers 1 and 6, and two German players and a Finnish ticket holder matched five main numbers to pocket €154,881 each. Other awards snapped up ranged from €8.90 for matching two main numbers and a Euro number to €6,733 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. See the Results page for a full Eurojackpot prize breakdown.

At €40 million this Friday, Eurojackpot offers Europe’s second biggest jackpot of the week, with only Italy’s €100.1 million SuperEnalotto bounty worth more. If you fancy your chances, you do not have to live in one of the 17 participating nations to take part. Online lottery concierge services send locally-based employees to buy the Eurojackpot lines you request. They scan them and upload the image to your player account, ensuring the physical ticket is kept securely in a safe at the company’s office. If you win a non-jackpot prize, the money is paid into your player account and jackpot winners could even have their travel arranged to the country in which the ticket was bought so they can claim the cash in person.

Take a look at the Play Eurojackpot page to buy Eurojackpot tickets online. You can also get hold of them from authorised retailers in each of the countries that play this big-money lottery game.
