You can win prizes by matching your chosen numbers to the numbers drawn on the night. Eurojackpot draws take place on Tuesday and Friday nights in Helsinki, Finland around 21.00 EET (20:00 GMT). The winning numbers will be shown on the Results page immediately after the draw, followed by a full prize breakdown shortly thereafter.

Ticket sales for Eurojackpot close on Tuesday and Friday evenings before the draw takes place, but the exact time varies depending on the country in which you have bought your ticket.

All Eurojackpot tickets are only valid for a specific period of time following the draw for which they were purchased. The deadline for claiming a prize varies between participating countries; please see the How to Claim page to find out how long you have to claim a prize depending on where you purchased a ticket.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 139,838,160. There are a total of 12 prize tiers available, with the overall odds of winning any prize set at 1 in 32. To view the odds of winning a prize in each of the different tiers, visit the Odds of Winning Eurojackpot section.

You may be the target of a lottery scam if you have received an unsolicited message about winning a Eurojackpot prize. If you haven’t bought a ticket, you can’t win a prize! Visit the Scams page to learn more about identifying lottery scams.

There is no limit to the number of times the jackpot can roll over, however, once the jackpot reaches €120 million, it is capped at this amount and any extra money that would have been added to the jackpot is diverted to the Match 5 and 1 Euro Number prize tier, which also has a cap of €120 million.

When Eurojackpot started in March 2012, the jackpot could only roll over 12 times until it had to be won in the following draw. If no players matched the entire winning line in the 13th draw, the entire jackpot would roll down and be distributed among winning players in the next-highest prize tier. The rollover cap was removed in February 2013.

The rollover cap was removed in February 2013 and replaced by a jackpot cap of €90 million. This cap increased to €120 million in March 2022.
