Eurojackpot Results for Friday 15th January 2016
Friday’s Eurojackpot draw ended in a rollover after no player could match the winning numbers. More than €25.4 million was spent on tickets entered into the game as punters from 17 different countries and further afield attempted to snap up a €14 million windfall. Eurojackpot’s top prize has remained unconquered since New Year’s Day, when a single German participant won an incredible €49.6 million.
The winning Eurojackpot numbers for Friday were 4, 23, 25, 37 and 39 with Euro numbers 1 and 9. A single German participant matched five main numbers and one Euro number to win just over €1 million, while eight participants - one from Spain, one from Italy, four from Finland, one from Germany and one from Denmark - matched five main numbers to win €47,668 each.
Other prizes awarded on the night were worth between €8.80 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number and €5,526 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers drawn. Ultimately, more than €6.6 million in prize money was awarded to more than 431,600 players. For a full prize breakdown, visit the Eurojackpot Results page for last Friday’s draw.
On Friday 22nd January, players will have the chance to aim for a double rollover jackpot worth an estimated €19 million. If anyone can match the entire winning line drawn in Helsinki that night, they’ll grab a fortune in addition to becoming the second Eurojackpot winner of 2016. You can play Eurojackpot online from wherever you are in the world or buy tickets from authorised retailers. Good luck!
