Eurojackpot Results for Friday 6th May 2016
A single ticket holder from Hamburg in Germany scooped Friday’s Eurojackpot top prize, becoming the 13th jackpot winner from the country and the 31st top-tier winner the game has seen since it began in March 2012. The unknown player is now €14.4 million richer after purchasing their ticket from a shop in Rahlstedt.
The winning numbers were 12, 24, 38, 45 and 46 with Euro numbers 6 and 10. Three players, all from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany, matched five main numbers and one Euro number to win €353,345 each. Another seven ticket holders from Croatia, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Slovenia each won €53,295 when they matched five main numbers.
Other prizes awarded were worth between €9.30 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number and €5,406 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. Lotto Hamburg officials are buzzing about Friday’s draw, which saw the Eurojackpot top prize go to a Hamburg resident for the first time in the history of the game. “We warmly congratulate the Hamburg winner and welcome them to visit us at our Lotto Hamburg headquarters soon”, said Torsten Meinberg, the Director of Lotto Hamburg.
In the next Eurojackpot draw on Friday 13th May, players will have the chance to compete for a new top prize worth €10 million. Tickets are on sale online or from authorised retailers in any of the participating countries. Good luck and have fun!
