Sixteen Eurojackpot Players Win Big as Jackpot Rolls Over
October has certainly been a fantastic month for Eurojackpot fans, and its final draw proved no different, with over 600,000 lucky ticket holders securing prizes on what proved to be a prosperous night for ticket holders. Friday evening’s draw, despite failing to deliver a winner of the €10 million jackpot, did see 16 players each win €106,182 as both the Match 5+1 and Match 5 prize tiers produced the same reward.
The winning numbers were 1, 4, 6, 12 and 13, with 1 and 6 appearing as the Euro numbers. With such a tightly knit set of numbers, the draw produced a much larger number of winners in the Match 5+1 tier than usual, meaning that the prize pot had to be split between more players. This resulted in the winners from the Match 5 pool receiving the same prize total, despite not matching as many numbers. The prizes were divided between the various Eurojackpot nations, with ticket holders from Germany (6x), Slovakia (3x), Czech Republic, Denmark and Finland claiming the Match 5+1 prizes, while players from Germany (2x), Denmark and Slovakia prospered in the Match 5 tier.
There were a further 604,115 prize winners, each of whom won rewards ranging from €7.30 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €1,539 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. The collective attention of Eurojackpot fans will now turn to this Friday when an estimated jackpot of €15 million will be up for grabs. Each player will be aiming to become the largest top prize winner since Friday 14th October, when a German ticket holder from the Black Forest area of Baden-Wurttemberg won a record-equalling windfall of €90 million after the prize total hit its cap.
To be in with a chance of winning this Friday’s top prize, Eurojackpot tickets can be purchased online or from authorised retailers in any of the 17 participating countries. Best of luck!
